Being in the feed makes your products eligible. It does not guarantee they are shown. That decision is OpenAI’s.
Do I need an OpenAI merchant account?
Yes. You apply at chatgpt.com/merchants and OpenAI reviews each application. The plugin has an “Apply to ChatGPT” tab with a checklist and ready answers for the form.
Which countries are supported?
OpenAI’s standard feed upload currently targets stores that sell in the US with prices in USD. Other countries need confirmation from OpenAI. The readiness check works for any WooCommerce store.

Can I sell digital products?
Most digital goods, such as downloadable files and templates, are not supported by OpenAI. Regular software and licenses are an exception. The plugin marks downloadable products and leaves them out of the feed by default.
What feed format does the plugin create?
A gzip-compressed JSON Lines file (products.jsonl.gz) in OpenAI’s product feed format. It is rebuilt daily and can also be generated on demand.
